Feast for Change

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Feast for Change 2023!  It was such a fun evening for all of us at Project Feast–we hope it was enjoyable for all our guests as well.

The event was a huge success for us:

• We were able to obtain cash sponsorships from seven businesses that raised $19,500
• Ticket sales raised $9920
• The online auction as well as the raffle sales raised $6675
• Additional donations from attendees raised $6800
• Resulting in over $42,000 in total funds raised.
• Plus, we know that we will receive more individual donations in the days to come as people mail in their donations or donate via our website.
• And don’t forget employer match! Please ask your employer if they will match your contribution. We are registered with Benevity.

These funds will go back into our culinary training program as we continue helping immigrants and refugees pursue livelihoods in the food industry. Thank you to everyone for taking the time to celebrate with us this past Saturday and for the many kind words we have received over the last few days. While we are excited at the amount of funds raised, we were happy to have a full house of apprentices and alumni and to be able to celebrate with our community!
