Arroz con Tres Leches

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rice
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • Lemon peel
  • 3 cups full-fat milk
  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/3 cup raisins

Instructions

  • 1. Combine the three milks in a saucepan over medium heat and cook one hour.
  • 2. Wash the rice in warm water. In a second pot, boil 3 cups of water with salt, cinnamon and lemon peel 3 minutes.
    3. Add the rice and cook 10 to 15 minutes.
    4. Add the cooked three milks and stir for 10 to 15 minutes.
    5. Add the raisins and salt and pepper to taste.
