Xawaash Spice Mix

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cumin seeds
  • 1/2 cup coriander seeds
  • 2 tbsp black peppercorns
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon bark
  • 1 tbsp cardamom pods
  • 1 tsp cloves
  • 2 tbsp turmeric powder

Instructions

  • Dry roast all the ingredients, cool and grind.
  • Makes about 1 ½ cups. Use in Zurbiyan chicken recipe.
